ICYNENE PROSEAL ECO SPRAY FOAM INSULATION

100% water-blown closed-cell spray foam insulation

Icynene ProSeal Eco is the world’s first 100% water-blown closed-cell spray foam insulation product. With no synthetic blowing agent, Icynene ProSeal Eco is a smarter replacement for chemically based medium-density, closed-cell spray foams. Ideal for exterior continuous insulation applications, Icynene ProSeal Eco provides a high-performance all-in-one exterior continuous insulation and air barrier solution for the outer surface of sheathing on a framed wall. Plus, it also smoothly and completely covers all areas that could otherwise permit energy-draining thermal bridges.

 

  • Aged thermal resistance: 4.9 per inch*
  • Construction types: I - V
  • Core density: 2.2 lb.
  • Can be sprayed year-round, even at temperatures as low as 5oF.
  • Air impermeable
  • 100% water blown
  • Class II vapor retarder at 2.4” thickness
  • Meets FEMA criteria for resisting water absorption
  • Compliant to California Department of Public Health EHLB v1.1-2010 Emissions Specification Section 01350

* R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. Compare insulation R-values before you buy. There are other factors to consider. The amount of insulation you need depends mainly on the climate you live in. Also, your fuel savings from insulation will depend upon the climate, the type and size of your house, the amount of insulation already in your house, and your fuel use patterns and family size. If you buy too much insulation, it will cost you more than what you'll save on fuel. To get the marked R-value, it is essential that this insulation be installed properly.
