US builders confidence rises for first time in 2014
According to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), confidence among US home builders has risen for the first time this year. The industry gauge suggests that home builders across the country are feeling more confident about the prospect of selling a new home to homebuyers. The confidence rise is just one point below the "favorable conditions" level which suggests there may be a positive change within the industry.
The housing market is coming out of a sluggish start to the year due to the long, severe winter which hindered construction and sales.
