Solar energy will play an impactful role in how the state of New Jersey manages its future carbon emissions.

According to a new analysis released by regional transmission organization PJM Interconnection, the Garden State has a number of eco-friendly measures already in place to help it moderate its greenhouse gases. The state's plan to drastically reduce its emissions and up its reliance on renewable energy by 2050 has been and will be, in part, due to its ambitiously high commitment to solar energy infrastructure.

Moreover, the PJM state-by-state study also found New Jersey's low dependence on coal power and reliance on low-carbon baseline generators powered by nuclear and natural gas will also help it continue its mission for a greener tomorrow.
