LD-C-50 Classic for Residential Applications
Making the Icynene name synonymous with superior-quality spray foam insulation, Icynene Classic (LD-C-50) is a one-step quality performance material that both insulates and air seals for the lifetime of the building. Used in thousands of residential and commercial projects since 1986, Icynene Classic (LD-C-50) is guaranteed to perform as specified for the life of the building, consistently outperforming traditional insulation types.

Thermal and Ignition Barriers

Approved thermal barriers:
- DC 315 @20 wet mils. (13 dry mils, 80 sq ft/gallon)
- Alternatively, use a prescriptive thermal barrier
Approved ignition barriers:
- DC 315 @ 4 wet mils. (3 dry mils, 400 sq ft/gallon)
- No Burn Plus XD @ 6 wet mils (4 dry mils, 270 sq ft/gallon)
- Alternatively, use a prescriptive ignition barrier

Limitations of Use
Should not be used:
- Against substrates that may exceed 200°F at installation or in the future
- Inside electrical outlets or junction boxes
- Flotation purposes
- Placed above the roofing membrane
- Exterior surfaces, exposed and/or in contact with water
