University report reveals Americans believe global warming is real and man-made
An analysis from Stanford University has revealed that around 75% of American adults believe that global warming is real, serious and man-made, reports USA Today. The analysis also indicated that that figure rose to 84% for those in states affected by recent drought or vulnerable to rising sea-levels. Although the figures range state by state, the general feeling among respondents is that the phenomenon is largely man-made.
The Stanford University report also found that most Americans welcomed tax incentives that focused on producing renewable energy, boosting energy efficiency and reducing pollution from emitting into the atmosphere.
